About the Role

This contract Revenue Analyst interprets operational activity to accurately recognize revenue and invoice customers. You will independently review agreements, amendments, pricing, penalties, performance incentives, and bonus structures, while partnering with Operations, Accounting, and Contracts to identify revenue leakage and resolve variances.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure accurate revenue capture for all contracts
• Analyze daily activity reports and invoice contractual rates to customers, managing exceptions and rate caps
• Create and close projects in the accounting system as work begins and ends, with compliant documentation
• Create new tasks in the accounting system as work phases complete
• Track contract term expiration dates and calculate related penalties
• Review and assist the Contract Maintenance team with draft amendment letters, and update files with signed letters to ensure billing and audit compliance
• Verify customer elections are contractually viable, coordinating with Contract Maintenance and Operations as needed
• Reconcile monthly variances between budgeted and actual revenue
• Create and maintain customer pricebooks with contractual pricing
• Assist Collections with invoice disputes
• Bill performance bonuses accurately and on time, and review bonus structures and calculations with technical teams
• Export operational data regularly
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Review and approve reimbursable charges, pass-through costs, bonuses, and other revenue transactions prepared by support teams
• Track unbilled revenue to generate monthly accruals
• Maintain the additional charge spreadsheet and update Operations on changes
• Maintain company reports
• Keep your manager informed of project status, billing, contractual language, and operational issues

Candidate Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance
• Self-starter able to manage daily work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Highly analytical with strong quantitative skills and close attention to detail across multiple activities
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong team player who collaborates across the company
• Demonstrates the company’s core values

Preferred:

• 5 years of experience in revenue analysis, contract administration, accounting, billing, or related financial functions
• Experience with accounting, invoicing, and operational data systems

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $35-$40/hour DOE
• Employment Type: Contract 6-9 Months
