Finance Associate – Private Equity / Oil & Gas

A rapidly growing private equity-backed oil & gas firm in Dallas is seeking a sharp, highly motivated Finance Associate to join its investment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career investment banking professional looking to transition into private equity and gain hands-on exposure to acquisitions, financial modeling, and strategic investment decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and investment analyses
• Evaluate potential acquisitions and investment opportunities
• Support due diligence, transaction execution, and deal underwriting
• Prepare investment committee materials and presentations
• Analyze portfolio company performance and industry trends
• Work directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• 1–2 years of investment banking experience
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Oil & gas / energy exposure strongly preferred
• Driven, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment

Compensation: Approximately $150K base + highly competitive bonus and excellent benefits
