Position Summary
Fuse3 Solutions is working with an oil and gas organization that is building a new AI team and is seeking an AI Developer to help turn emerging artificial intelligence capabilities into practical business solutions. This is a foundational role with broad technical exposure, focused on building and deploying AI-powered applications, agents, and workflows across a modern cloud and data ecosystem.
The AI Developer will work with Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, Snowflake, and Anthropic Claude to create prototypes, models, and implementations across a wide range of workflows and processes.
This role is ideal for a technically curious developer who has a strong foundation in Python, software engineering, and data, along with genuine enthusiasm for learning new AI tools and approaches as the technology continues to evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and autonomous or multi-agent workflows using large language models such as Claude, Azure OpenAI, and other emerging models.
Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Snowflake and Azure Databricks to AI and machine learning workflows, using tools such as dbt to ensure models and agents operate on trusted, well-structured data.
Rapidly prototype and evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks, recommending adoption when they provide clear business value.
Partner with data science, data engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous business needs into working, production-ready solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and cloud data platforms
Hands-on experience building applications with large language models or generative AI APIs, such as Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms.
Ability to work autonomously with new technologies, developing processes, and a newly established team.
