Position: Senior Accountant

Fuse3 Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accounting, reporting, and reconciliation functions across a diverse portfolio of investments and entities for a client. This role will be responsible for investment reconciliations, financial reporting, cash management activities, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and experience reconciling complex financial transactions.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of investment accounts, brokerage statements, and custodial reports.
Record and reconcile investment transactions, including purchases, sales, dividends, interest income, capital calls, and distributions.
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger activity.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Prepare financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
Monitor cash activity and assist with cash management functions.
Coordinate with external advisors, financial institutions, and service providers.
Maintain supporting documentation for financial transactions and account activity.
Assist with audit requests, tax support, and special projects as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP or accounting software systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Experience with investment accounting, financial services, wealth management, public accounting, or other complex accounting environments preferred.
Familiarity with partnership accounting, investment reporting, or multi-entity accounting structures is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

The pay range for the Senior Accountant is up to $85k/year based on experience.
