Position: Controller

The Controller will oversee the organization's accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial processes. This leadership role will partner with executive management to provide financial insight, support strategic initiatives, and help drive operational success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the organization.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning efforts.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.
• Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external accounting partners and advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Significant progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles.
• Experience overseeing audits and working with external partners.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
