Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This role is responsible for preparing external financial statements, supporting SEC filings, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other required filings)
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting disclosures
• Research and apply new accounting standards and SEC regulations
• Support external audits and respond to auditor requests
• Prepare account reconciliations and technical accounting documentation
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA required or actively pursuing certification
• 2+ years of Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP required
• Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
