Mortgage Collections Specialist
Our client is seeking a Collections Specialist to support customers with past-due mortgage accounts. This is an on-site role in Oklahoma City within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, focused on helping borrowers understand their options and work toward resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contact customers regarding delinquent mortgage accounts (inbound and outbound)
• Explain repayment options and guide borrowers through available solutions
• Assist in setting up payment arrangements based on account status
• Navigate sensitive financial conversations with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all account activity
• Ensure all interactions meet compliance and regulatory requirements
• Meet individual performance goals related to call volume and account resolution
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, call center, or high-volume customer service
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced setting
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable discussing financial situations and payment solutions
• Mortgage servicing, collections, or financial services experience is a plus
