Position Overview

A well-established organization in the Oklahoma City area is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support its Accounts Receivable operations. This role will focus on managing customer accounts, assisting with invoice follow-up, and helping resolve billing inquiries. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and comfortable handling multiple accounts while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support accounts receivable functions, including monitoring open invoices and account balances

  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices via phone and email

  • Provide invoice copies and assist with billing-related inquiries

  • Research and help resolve payment discrepancies or disputes, escalating when necessary

  • Assist with reconciliation and account research as needed

  • Provide excellent service to internal teams and external customers

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain accurate records

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, accounting support, or a related finance role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset

  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly

Schedule & Assignment Details

  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)

  • Monday–Friday within standard business hours

  • Contract assignment expected to last 3

  • Pay rate starting around $19/hour
