Position: Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle Accounts Payable for three entities, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Prepare and record cash deposits; reconcile related accounts
• Transfer funds between bank accounts as needed and maintain proper documentation
• Monitor and record prepaid expenses and monthly accruals
• Track and coordinate insurance renewals, ensuring timely payments and updated records
• Assist with month-end close and support general accounting functions

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting or AP experience
• Experience handling multiple entities preferred
• Understanding of prepaids, accruals, and basic general ledger concepts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a multi-entity environment

Pay for the Accounting Assistant starts at $50k/year and goes up based on experience.
