Position: Contract & Data Analyst
Fuse3 Solutions is searching for a Contract & Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, negotiating, and monitoring managed care contracts for hospital and physician services. This role supports contract strategy, reimbursement optimization, financial modeling, and payer negotiations while ensuring contract compliance and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze managed care contracts and communicate financial and operational impacts to stakeholders.
- Develop financial models and reimbursement projections to support contract negotiations and strategic planning.
- Monitor contract performance, audit payments for compliance, and identify reimbursement variances.
- Participate in payer negotiations, including reimbursement terms and contract language review.
- Resolve contract disputes and payment issues through collaboration with payers and internal teams.
- Build, maintain, and test contract modeling within Epic to ensure accurate reimbursement and revenue forecasting.
- Produce reports, analyses, and data sets to support contracting and reimbursement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational, finance, revenue cycle, and Epic teams to improve contract performance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of healthcare contracting, reimbursement, managed care, or healthcare finance experience.
- Experience with provider and facility reimbursement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with payer contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of Epic, Power BI, Microsoft Access, and healthcare data analytics.
- Experience with contract financial modeling and reimbursement forecasting.
Salary for the Contract & Data Analyst is $68k-$98k/year based on experience.
