Job Title: HR & Payroll Systems Specialist (Temporary Contract)

Overview:
Fuse3 Solutions is seeking an HR & Payroll Systems Specialist for a well-established company in Oklahoma City. This temporary contract role will focus on optimizing and maintaining the organization’s HR & Payroll system, streamlining processes, and ensuring accurate, efficient operations across HR, Payroll, and related functions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with HRIS/payroll platforms, process evaluation, and system configuration, as well as excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities of HR & Payroll Systems Specialist:

  • Assist with clean-up and ongoing maintenance of the HR & Payroll system

  • Evaluate payroll processes and identify optimal methods for payroll production and benefits management

  • Review HR information and determine best practices for information utilization and functionality

  • Organize and update documents and checklists; develop new resources to ensure required information is delivered to employees promptly and accurately

  • Support set-up and optimization of the Performance Evaluation and Performance Discussions processes

  • Review and update Personnel Action Forms to ensure accuracy and alignment with related processes (e.g., terminations, hires, wage changes)

  • Clean up report archives; set up standardized reports, push reports, and audit reports to support management activities

  • Analyze and configure user profiles, access, and security levels to support HR, Payroll, Accounting, and Fleet processes

  • Document work instructions for all related processes

  • Create analytics dashboards and reporting to support management decisions

  • Evaluate benefits and COBRA administration to identify underutilized system functionality

  • Provide recommendations for improved functionality and utilization based on prior HRIS/payroll system experience

Qualifications of HR & Payroll Systems Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • 3+ years of experience with HRIS or payroll systems administration, configuration, or optimization

  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR workflows

  • Experience developing and documenting standardized processes and procedures

  • Proficiency with reporting, analytics, and security/access configuration in an HRIS/payroll environment

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with performance management process setup is a plus

Compensation:
$17 – $23/hour, depending on experience
