Senior Data Engineer
Fuse3 Solutions is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to support a growing team in the energy sector. This role blends data engineering and business intelligence by transforming raw data into clean, scalable models that support enterprise-wide analytics. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of building robust data workflows and documentation that power BI tools and decision-making processes. 
 
Responsibilities of Senior Data Engineer:

• Transform and model raw data into structured datasets optimized for analysis
• Build scalable data models and semantic layers for use in BI platforms
• Develop version-controlled workflows using tools like DBT
• Create technical documentation for models, workflows, and data pipelines
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with business goals
• Ensure high data quality, performance, and accessibility for analytics use
• Support best practices in data governance and architecture

• 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
• Strong SQL skills, including advanced querying and transformations
• Proficient in data modeling and semantic layer design for BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire)
• Experience with Snowflake
• Skilled in building scalable workflows and optimizing query performance
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control systems
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

 
 
Salary Range of Senior Data Engineer: $150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience
