Our growing OKC client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with 3+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with exposure to the oil and gas industry, who are CPA eligible and looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting internal reporting, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate thrives on taking initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to grow within a company that values innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements

• Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits

• Perform variance analysis and provide insight into key business drivers

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of internal controls

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, tax, and legal departments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s a plus

• 3+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred)

• Oil & gas industry experience required

• CPA certification or CPA eligibility required

• Strong understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus

Compensation:

• $80-110k depending on experience
