Director of Accounting

Dallas, TX 

CPA and Public Accounting experience REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting function, including financial reporting, general ledger, and month-end close processes.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial strategy and decision-making.

• Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.

• Optimize accounting processes and implement best practices.

• Work closely with private equity partners and stakeholders to provide financial insights and reporting.

Qualifications:

• CPA required.

• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.

• Strong preference for candidates currently at a Senior or Manager level in public accounting.

• Experience working with private equity-backed companies is a plus.

• Excellent knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
   

Compensation: $150 - $175k plus bonus potential.
