Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and enforce proper internal controls and accounting policies in compliance with GAAP.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support system and process improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with tax requirements, including payroll, sales, and corporate taxes.
Mentor and develop accounting staff, setting objectives and conducting performance evaluations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA required.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
