Job Summary:
The Construction Project Coordinator will support project managers in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects. Your role will be critical in keeping projects on track, maintaining strong communication between all stakeholders, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly from the initial planning stages to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating project timelines, resources, and budgets to keep construction projects on track.

  • Act as the central point of contact between project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.

  • Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as contracts, permits, plans, and change orders.

  • Track project progress and key milestones, proactively addressing potential delays or issues.

  • Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting notes to ensure all action items are captured.

  • Support procurement efforts and assist in coordinating the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.

  • Monitor and assist in tracking project costs, budgets, and client invoicing, ensuring accurate financial documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project schedules, and industry terminology.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and clients at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.

Compensation: $50-70k DOE
