We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in construction project coordination, and a passion for helping projects succeed from initiation to completion. Job Summary:
The Construction Project Coordinator will assist in the management of construction projects, working closely with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and clients. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of construction processes and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction project timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Act as a liaison between project managers, internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and timely project updates.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, and change orders, ensuring all materials are up to date and easily accessible.

  • Track project progress and monitor key milestones to ensure projects remain on schedule, addressing any potential delays or issues promptly.

  • Organize and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes.

  • Assist project managers in coordinating procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources needed for the project.

  • Support in tracking and managing project costs, budgets, and client invoicing.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of construction projects.

  • Handle administrative tasks as needed to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or related field.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and clients.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
