Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and leadership skills to manage a team and contribute to the organization's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information.

Accounting Operations:
- Supervise and manage accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings.
- Coordinate external audits and prepare required documentation.

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Assign tasks, set objectives, and evaluate performance.

Strategic Planning and Analysis:
- Provide insights and support to executive leadership on financial planning and budgeting.
- Analyze financial performance and trends to identify growth opportunities and cost-saving strategies.
- Contribute to business planning, financial modeling, and strategic initiatives.

- Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and technologies to optimize workflow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance processes, reporting, and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and financial reporting software.
- Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams and working collaboratively across departments.
