Position Summary

Fuse3 Solutions is partnering with a leading organization to identify an experienced EAM Application Developer to support the configuration, customization, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of solutions for an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform.

This position will work with limited supervision and will be responsible for managing software development activities throughout the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background, experience working with databases and development platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and document software solutions based on business priorities and user requirements.
• Manage projects and processes throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Gather and document business requirements and work with users to determine priorities, complexity, and potential impacts.
• Provide time and cost estimates for proposed system changes and enhancements.
• Develop reliable and scalable software solutions while following established policies, practices, change-control procedures, and governance standards.
• Coordinate development activities with team members, infrastructure personnel, vendors, and management.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing solutions across additional business areas.
• Consult with and train business users to ensure effective use of technology solutions.
• Collaborate with key process owners to document complex application defects, enhancements, and projects.
• Create and maintain system documentation and training materials.
• Help identify and resolve difficult and complex technical problems.
• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
• Communicate development activities, project status, and technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with multiple development languages and/or platforms.
• Experience with software development and programming concepts and techniques.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of project management concepts.
• Understanding of basic infrastructure concepts and how development activities can impact infrastructure.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to gather and develop information, conduct meetings, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms.
• Experience with Octave Attune EAM or Hexagon EAM.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Experience working with application defects, enhancements, integrations, and system projects.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior development professionals.
