Program Support Specialist
Location: Oklahoma City, OK – Onsite
Employment Type: Contract, 6–12 Months
Position Overview
We are seeking a Program Support Specialist to provide frontline support for users of internal systems and operational tools. This position will serve as a primary point of contact for questions, system assistance, training needs, and general program support.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who enjoys troubleshooting problems, assisting users, coordinating multiple requests, and working with internal teams to improve processes and overall service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for user questions and support requests.
- Provide assistance with system access, functionality, and general workflow issues.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate more complex requests to the appropriate team.
- Monitor incoming requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, training, and other operational support needs.
- Coordinate training requests, scheduling, materials, and follow-up.
- Help develop and update training materials, process guides, manuals, and other resources.
- Assist with testing system updates and documenting findings.
- Maintain accurate records and support data quality and compliance requirements.
- Identify documentation or workflow gaps and collaborate with internal teams on potential improvements.
- Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide administrative and program support to leadership and team members.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and qualifying experience.
- Experience in customer support, program support, administrative operations, help desk support, technical assistance, or a similar environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain processes and system-related information to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow requests through completion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Experience with training coordination, documentation, process improvement, or user support is a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is preferred.
Additional Information
This position is onsite in Oklahoma City and requires an in-person interview. The contract is expected to last 6–12 months, with two openings available.
