Senior Accountant - Growth to Assistant Controller 

Compensation: $90-120k 

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing, collaborative company where you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact and take on increasing responsibility. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, resourceful, and naturally approaches problems with an accounting mindset. For the right person, there is a clear opportunity to grow into an Assistant Controller role.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reporting
• Research accounting issues, identify discrepancies, and develop practical solutions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit support, and financial analysis
• Help improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with leadership and other departments to solve problems and support business needs
• Take on additional accounting and operational projects as the company grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a smaller company environment where everyone pitches in
• Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to step outside of a traditional job description when needed
• Desire to grow professionally and take on greater leadership responsibility
