Payroll Reporting & Timekeeping Coordinator
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Reporting & Timekeeping Coordinator to support payroll operations and electronic timekeeping processes. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate workforce data, reviewing time records, preparing reports, and serving as a resource for employees and supervisors regarding timekeeping questions and system support. While this role works closely with the payroll team, payroll processing responsibilities are limited.
Key Responsibilities
Generate, review, and maintain payroll and workforce reports
Audit employee time records for accuracy and completeness
Monitor timecard exceptions, missed punches, and pay code discrepancies
Support supervisors and employees with electronic timekeeping questions and troubleshooting
Maintain employee information within the timekeeping system
Assist with reporting related to attendance, labor tracking, and workforce data
Partner with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate employee records
Provide administrative support to the payroll department as needed
Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with system updates and testing
Qualifications
Previous experience in payroll support, timekeeping administration, workforce reporting, or related administrative functions preferred
Experience with electronic timekeeping systems
Union environment experience is a plus
Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
