Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract to Hire)

Fuse3 Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team. This position is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collections, accurate cash application, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving billing and payment issues.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Apply cash receipts, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries.
• Reconcile accounts receivable balances and maintain aging reports.
• Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing and contract-related questions.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and assist with financial close processes.
• Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation.
• Support audit requests and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this role is $20-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications.
