Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations
• Perform financial and operational variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Analyze financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
• Support process improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience required
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with fixed assets and depreciation accounting
• Proven experience performing variance analysis and account analysis
• Experience preparing financial statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

$80,000 to $100,000 depending on education and experience. Company offers comprehensive benefits, retirement and PTO.
