Position: Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume accounts payable, including entering, coding, and auditing invoices
- Manage accounts receivable and assist with invoicing
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accounts are current according to terms
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries
- Request credits from vendors when needed
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Support purchasing with financial data and reporting as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management
- Assist with special accounting projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications (qualified candidates encouraged to apply):
- 2–3+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or office support role
- Experience working in a high-volume accounts payable environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Comfortable handling vendor communication and maintaining professional relationships
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary starting at $45,000, with flexibility based on experience
