Position: Community Engagement Coordinator
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Status: Full-Time | Hourly

Overview

A growing organization is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to support outreach initiatives, event coordination, and community relationship building. This role works closely with internal teams to help plan and execute outreach campaigns, coordinate events, and support engagement efforts that increase participation and awareness.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, organizing events, and representing an organization in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing community outreach events and engagement initiatives

  • Coordinate logistics for events, including materials, scheduling, and on-site support

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, organizations, and participants

  • Represent the organization at community events, schools, and partner locations

  • Track outreach efforts, event participation, and follow-up activities using internal systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing engagement campaigns

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in community outreach, event coordination, marketing, recruitment, sales, or related roles

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Comfortable interacting with the public and representing an organization professionally

  • Experience using CRM systems or tracking tools is helpful

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
