We are seeking a highly experienced HRIS Analyst who thrives in a data-driven environment and enjoys building, optimizing, and teaching advanced reporting solutions. This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will serve as the internal subject-matter expert for HR analytics and reporting—partnering closely with HR leadership to elevate system capabilities and reporting maturity.
If you are the person others come to for complex HR data questions, advanced Excel solutions, and HRIS reporting strategy, this role was built for you.
Serve as the primary administrator and reporting expert for the HRIS platform
Build, maintain, and optimize daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards
Design and streamline reporting within the HRIS BI/reporting environment
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness of HR data across payroll, onboarding, benefits, and retirement plans
Conduct regular audits and establish a structured monthly audit cadence
Analyze HR metrics to support compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making
Provide advanced reporting guidance and training to HR leadership and end users
Troubleshoot system issues and partner with HR and IT on workflow improvements
Track and manage vendor service cases, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
Continuously improve reporting processes through automation and optimization
Perform additional duties as assigned to support HR operations
Advanced HRIS reporting experience (this role requires deep, hands-on expertise)
Microsoft Fabric (Power BI) experience
UKG/Kronos experience strongly preferred
ADP or Paycom analytics experience may be considered if paired with strong Power BI and Excel skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including:
Complex formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, nested logic)
Data manipulation and analysis
Creating and editing Excel macros
Proven ability to independently build, manipulate, and optimize complex reports
Candidates without extensive experience in these areas should not apply. This role requires an expert who can lead and teach, not learn from scratch.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience working in UKG reporting environments (including Cognos or similar BI tools)
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Why This Role?
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact HRIS role where your expertise directly influences HR strategy, data quality, and leadership decision-making. You won’t just run reports—you’ll shape how HR data is used across the organization.
