We’re looking for an Epic Infrastructure Engineer to join our technical infrastructure team. This role is centered on supporting the systems, networks, and environments that power Epic, ensuring performance, reliability, and smooth day-to-day operations. An active ECSA certification is required for this position.

What We’re Looking For

This role is best suited for someone with a strong infrastructure background and hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of networks, systems, storage, or unified communications—depending on their specialization—combined with Epic-specific technical competency.

Required Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years of directly relevant experience.

  • Prior professional experience in an infrastructure-focused role.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • ITIL certification or willingness to obtain it within six months.

  • Active ECSA certification.

Preferred Certifications & Technical Experience

Candidates with any of the following will be especially competitive:

  • Intermediate-level infrastructure or storage certifications such as RHCSA, CCNA, MCSA, VCP, VCAP, VCDX, CWNA, EMCSA, ACIS, or CCP
    (Four years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a certification.)

Depending on the infrastructure track, the following experience areas are desired:


Network Focus

  • CCNA or CCDA preferred

  • Previous work with WAN/LAN environments

  • Familiarity with protocol analyzers

Storage Focus

  • Hands-on experience with storage area networks

  • Knowledge of Fiber Channel switch infrastructure

Systems Focus

  • Microsoft certifications are a plus

  • Work experience with Microsoft Active Directory

Unified Communications Focus

  • Background in mobile telecommunications setup and troubleshooting

  • Experience working with syslog, call detail records, and telecom alarm/monitoring platforms

  • Understanding of Ethernet, IP networking, routing, and QoS concepts

    This is a contract position with a pay rate of $55-$65 per hour based on experience.
