Financial Analyst

Oklahoma City, OK - Candidates must reside in Oklahoma and able to commute to Oklahoma City.

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst. This role is responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to help drive strategic decision-making and business performance. The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards.

  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

  • Support business leaders with ad-hoc financial modeling, scenario analyses, and strategic planning.

  • Maintain and enhance financial models used for forecasting, investment evaluation, and other business initiatives.

  • Partner with accounting to ensure accurate month-end close and data integrity.

  • Conduct market, competitive, and operational analyses to support strategic decision-making.

  • Assist in preparing presentations and reporting materials for senior leadership.

  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and assist in ROI and cost-benefit analyses.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related roles (internships included).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling required.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus.

  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to translate data into business insights.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in financial analysis.

  • Knowledge of GAAP principles.

  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, Power Query, advanced formulas).

  • Experience with data visualization tools or BI platforms.
