Overview:
We’re seeking a mid-level Project Manager to support a variety of cross-department initiatives for a large organization. This individual will work across Marketing, IT, Operations, and other business units. While this is not a deeply technical role, you should be comfortable navigating technology-driven projects, modernization efforts, and process alignment initiatives. Strong communication, confidence, and the ability to build trust quickly are essential.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and manage diverse projects including process alignment, modernization initiatives, and cross-functional operational efforts.
Facilitate requirements gathering, project planning, task tracking, and clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.
Identify project risks early, proactively address issues, and ensure consistent forward progress.
Partner with stakeholders at multiple levels and provide direct, professional guidance to keep initiatives on track.
Create and maintain project plans, timelines, documentation, and status reports for leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
3–6 years of project management experience.
Ability to be direct, professional, and confident when navigating conversations and expectations.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to earn trust quickly with technical and non-technical teams.
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and perceptive with a strong sense for identifying gaps or risks.
Comfortable working on both operational and technology-focused projects including enterprise systems, integrations, upgrades, and process modernization.
Experience supporting public sector or government agencies is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, SQL, or similar.
Nice to Have:
Experience with system modernization, digital transformation, or business process improvement.
Understanding of organizational change management practices.
General familiarity with IT concepts such as data flows, system integrations, infrastructure, or application lifecycle management.
Contract Details:
This is an 18-month contract initiative at approximately $60 per hour based on experience.
