We’re partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking organization to hire a Data Solutions Architect. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing enterprise-level data ecosystems, modernizing data platforms, and shaping long-term data strategy while staying hands-on with architecture and integration work.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide architecture leadership across the data domain by designing scalable solutions for relational, non-relational, and multi-dimensional data.

  • Build, document, and communicate end-to-end data architectures that support both immediate project needs and long-term enterprise strategy.

  • Mentor team members and collaborate with business stakeholders through demos, workshops, design reviews, and technical presentations.

  • Ensure data environments follow strong security, privacy, and governance practices.

  • Conduct architecture reviews across applications, integrations, infrastructure, and distributed data systems to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Translate business strategy into a forward-thinking data strategy that supports growth and modernization.

  • Maintain architecture roadmaps, standards, templates, and documentation that promote consistency and data quality across the organization.

  • Partner with Security and Privacy teams to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and internal data retention policies.

What You Need to Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 8–10+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data design, and data strategy.

  • Expertise with Microsoft/Azure SQL and Snowflake.

  • Experience with modern cloud ecosystems: Azure, Fabric, and Snowflake.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, and/or dbt.

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling approaches — Kimball or Inmon (Data Vault is a plus).

  • Ability to evaluate and influence complex architectural decisions.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule (onsite weekly) — must be local or willing to relocate.

  • Highly collaborative role with cross-functional visibility.
