We’re partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking organization to hire a Data Solutions Architect. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing enterprise-level data ecosystems, modernizing data platforms, and shaping long-term data strategy while staying hands-on with architecture and integration work.
Provide architecture leadership across the data domain by designing scalable solutions for relational, non-relational, and multi-dimensional data.
Build, document, and communicate end-to-end data architectures that support both immediate project needs and long-term enterprise strategy.
Mentor team members and collaborate with business stakeholders through demos, workshops, design reviews, and technical presentations.
Ensure data environments follow strong security, privacy, and governance practices.
Conduct architecture reviews across applications, integrations, infrastructure, and distributed data systems to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Translate business strategy into a forward-thinking data strategy that supports growth and modernization.
Maintain architecture roadmaps, standards, templates, and documentation that promote consistency and data quality across the organization.
Partner with Security and Privacy teams to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and internal data retention policies.
Bachelor’s degree required.
8–10+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data design, and data strategy.
Expertise with Microsoft/Azure SQL and Snowflake.
Experience with modern cloud ecosystems: Azure, Fabric, and Snowflake.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, and/or dbt.
Strong knowledge of data modeling approaches — Kimball or Inmon (Data Vault is a plus).
Ability to evaluate and influence complex architectural decisions.
Hybrid schedule (onsite weekly) — must be local or willing to relocate.
Highly collaborative role with cross-functional visibility.
