A reputable Oklahoma City defense firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a team of attorneys handling complex medical malpractice and general liability cases. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage critical case documents, assist with filings, and play an integral part in trial preparation. • Organize, index, and maintain case files and discovery materials
• Conduct document review, factual research, and investigative tasks
• Prepare, format, and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents
• Assist with medical records summaries, deposition preparation, and trial binders
• Electronic document management
• Coordinate with attorneys throughout all phases of medical malpractice and general litigation
• Manage deadlines and ensure timely execution of case-related tasks
• Track and enter billable time accurately
• Support trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and logistics

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of paralegal experience required
• Background in litigation defense required
• Direct medical malpractice experience strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PDF management tools
• Familiarity with legal research platforms and billing software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional communication and organizational skills
• Typing speed: 75–80 wpm
• High school diploma required; paralegal certificate preferred.

Compensation
$48,000 – $66,000
