Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Land Administration Technician to join a growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate land records and supporting the Land Department through data management, document organization, and compliance tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organize digital and physical records for Surface Use Agreements, Rights-of-Way, and related land documents
Verify, enter, and update agreement data in internal systems (terms, payments, expiration dates, etc.)
Analyze and interpret land-related legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Track critical deadlines, renewals, and obligations to ensure compliance
Support reporting and data management functions for the Land Department
Prepare regular status updates and reports for the Land Manager
Balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Minimum 1 year of experience in land administration or a related field (oil & gas experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and communication abilities
Ability to work independently while managing sensitive information
Flexible and adaptable with changing priorities
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
