Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst

• Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business teams for all SAP PRA functions, supporting revenue, ownership, and allocation processes.

• Lead PRA configuration, optimization, and enhancement efforts, ensuring reliability, compliance, and efficiency across the enterprise.

• Collaborate with Revenue Accounting and Division Order teams to identify process improvements and streamline system workflows.

• Troubleshoot complex issues within valuation, ownership, and contractual allocation modules.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, configuration updates, data flows, and testing scripts.

• Partner with developers and integration teams to ensure seamless data exchange between SAP and connected systems.

• Translate evolving business requirements into scalable, value-driven SAP PRA solutions.

• Support upgrades, enhancement projects, and testing efforts while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP PRA, mentoring junior analysts and advising leadership on best practices.

Qualifications of the Senior Business Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP PRA in the oil and gas industry.

• Strong knowledge of valuation, ownership, and contractual allocation processes.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across SAP PRA modules.

• Experience documenting requirements, system configurations, workflows, and test scripts.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and business teams.

Salary Range of Senior Business Analyst: $125,000 – $150,000 base depending on experience, plus an industry-leading bonus opportunity.
