Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide management with actionable insights.
Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax and reporting requirements.
Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Implement process improvements and technology enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis and modeling.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
