Position: AR/Credit Manager

Summary
Own AR, credit, and collections while designing the process, policies, and KPIs for a new function. No direct reports; high-ownership role.

Responsibilities

• Run order-to-cash: invoicing accuracy, cash application, adjustments, month-end AR close & reporting.
• Underwrite credit: set/adjust limits & terms, manage holds, mitigate risk (incl. UCC as needed).
• Lead collections: outreach cadence, resolve disputes/deductions; partner with Sales/CS.
• Build SOPs & controls: billing, credit reviews, order release, write-offs, bad-debt provisioning.
• Stand up metrics: DSO, CEI, % current, >60, unapplied cash; deliver a weekly dashboard.
• Optimize systems: ERP data/approvals, master data hygiene; support audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business highly preferred
• 5+ years AR/Credit/Collections with measurable DSO and aging improvements.
• Strong Excel (lookups/pivots) and ERP (NetSuite/Dynamics/SAP/Sage/QB Enterprise or similar).
• Clear communicator; process builder who documents and drives adoption.

Pay for the AR/Credit Manager starts at $70k/year and goes based on experience.
