Manager, Epic Applications

Responsibilities of the Manager, Epic Applications

Lead a team responsible for the implementation, optimization, and support of Epic applications across revenue cycle functions, including billing, claims, patient engagement, and specialty workflows.

Oversee project delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and end-users to align system functionality with business processes and organizational goals.

Mentor and guide team members, providing coaching, setting expectations, and fostering professional growth.

Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, managing schedules, budgets, and cross-functional dependencies.

Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and workflows to support system operations and continuous improvement.

Serve as a primary point of contact for Epic-related initiatives, communicating status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
Qualifications of the Manager, Epic Applications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications in analytics, EHR, or project management preferred.

3–5 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in healthcare application management or IT project management.

Strong knowledge of Epic systems, revenue cycle processes, and healthcare operations.

Experience managing application projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process optimization.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to drive to sites as needed and travel occasionally for project or team support.
Salary Range of Manager, Epic Applications: Depending on experience
