The Land Administration Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity for Surface Use Agreements, Rights-of-Way, and related Land documents. This role supports the Land Department through document management, data entry, deadline tracking, and reporting, while ensuring compliance and accessibility of records.
Key Responsibilities
•Maintain and organize digital and physical records for Surface Use Agreements, Rights-of-Way, and related contracts.
•Ensure proper file structure and accessibility of all land records.
•Verify, enter, and update agreement data in internal Land systems, including terms, payment obligations, expiration dates, and option periods.
•Analyze and interpret land-related legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•Track and monitor critical deadlines such as renewals, obligations, and other time-sensitive commitments.
•Support critical data management functions by maintaining accurate, compliant records.
•Prepare and deliver status reports to the Land Manager as required.
•Balance competing priorities and meet project deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
•Minimum 1 year of industry-related experience; oil and gas industry experience preferred.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Basic understanding of land rights and agreements preferred.
•Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
•High attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and document review.
•Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
