Software Analyst

Responsibilities of the Software Analyst:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications and automation scripts to support business processes.

  • Integrate and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring smooth flow through data pipelines and APIs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues, and perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades.

  • Create reports, dashboards, and data models to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and business units to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Maintain documentation, follow security best practices, and support compliance standards.

Qualifications of the Software Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • About 2 years of experience in software development, data analysis, or application support.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API/web services development.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Knowledge of Active Directory integration in enterprise environments.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, automated testing) is a plus.

Salary Range of Software Analyst: $60,000 - 70,000 depending on experience
