Perform substantive testing of financial statement accounts, including cash, receivables, payables, revenues, and expenses.
Evaluate internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Document audit findings and prepare working papers in compliance with firm standards.
Draft sections of audit reports and management letters.
Collaborate with audit team members to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Stay current with auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and clarify audit questions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
1–3 years of public accounting experience, preferably in audit.
Working knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies.
CPA certification in progress or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
$70,000 - $90,000 depending on education or experience.
