Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic sales mindset, deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to effectively communicate value to clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, referrals, research, and outbound outreach.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and tailor product solutions accordingly.

  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

  • Track and manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity in the CRM system.

  • Provide regular forecasts, reports, and updates to leadership.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.

  • Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience.

  • 1+ year of experience in the oil and gas industry (required).

  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales goals.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Prolonged periods working at a computer.

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • Occasional travel for client visits, meetings, and training.
