Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and management reporting.
Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist with year-end audit activities.
Help implement new accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting and/or industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
