This person will report to an amazing leader and be part of a small team handling multi-state/multi-entity payroll. Key Responsibilities
Administer routine payroll functions, including employee updates, compensation changes, and processing cycles using payroll software.
Prepare and distribute recurring reports related to compensation, benefits, and workforce data.
Support compliance activities related to employment requirements such as benefits, wage garnishments, and leave programs.
Respond to employment-related notices and documentation requests.
Assist in compiling compensation data and preparing financial summaries as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized employee records in both digital and physical formats.
Evaluate current payroll workflows and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with management to recommend and implement procedural updates.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to payroll and HR operations.
Perform additional administrative or HR/payroll-related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of recent experience with end-to-end payroll processing in a mid to large-sized, multi-site organization.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in commonly used office and payroll software tools.
Salary range for the Payroll Coordinator is $55k-$65k/year based on experience.
